New Strategies for the Photobook – The PhotoBookMuseum

Friday 1 June will be the „New Strategies for the Photobook“ Day, hosted by The PhotoBookMuseum and introduced by Markus Schaden. It adheres to the Museum’s spirit and mission to open the medium photobook for a new audience and establish a new visual literature in culture in general. The Friday line-up includes talks and lectures by photographers, collectors, experts and initiatives which are trying to find new strategies for their inspiring projects: New Books by Carolyn Drake and Carlos Spottorno, 10×10 Photobooks from New York City, the Russian Independent SelfPublished collective from Moscow, BIND Collective from Dehli, Insight into Ben Krewinkel’s collection: Africa in the Photobook, a mobile PhotoBook Exhibition by MONTAG Stiftung and The_PBM presented by Anne-Katrin Bicher and Frederic Lezmi.
